4000 emails missed!
for a while now i have had a number of customers say they tried to e-mail me and that i hadnt replied,well we check our e-mails several times a day on out microsoft outlook express to which all emails sent via the hunter catapults site should have been routed as well as all our other mail,regretably there was a problem and today my I.T man and us discovered that our emails from the site hadnt been forwarded and that there are 4,000 ‘lost’ emails .
If you were one of them we are truly sorry ,hopefully now we will get all our mail,tests are ongoing to ensure they are and i will be sending a test email every day to check that the system is working.

For the last 6 months we have been looking to come up with a new design for a pocket sized Hunter catapult,after a lot of messing about we looked again at the Tournament pro,it was way too big for the application so we sized it down and voila! it was just what we had been looking for.
We decided from the start that we would initially make these from the dymondwood as it really is classy and at this time no one in the world is making catapults from it,given the stripey look of the materials and the size of the catty we decided it would be called the ‘WASP’ .
Since we came up with the wasp we have sold a good few and our customers from all over the world are giving us very positive feedback.

Catapult hunting and UK law.
It is completely legal to shoot rabbits with a catapult with the intention to kill. So if you are looking for dinner you can use a catapult, it is legal.
However you must :
a. Have permission from the landowner to do so first!
b. Be proficient enough to be able to kill, and must use suitable projectiles to ensure this! For example steel ball bearings.
c. Intend to kill.
It is also important to note : The Wild Mammals Protection Act 1996 which makes it an offence to injure, maim, beat with sticks, torment, burn, wild animals etc. . In other words not to kill but merely to cause suffering. Therefore if you are seen shooting at a rabbit time and time again without killing or stunning the rabbit only hitting it, this could be seen as contrary to this act, and would need to answer for it, possibly in court. Therefore power, accuracy, using adequate and suitable projectiles, and at a range whereby an accurate shot will kill, is vital to be and be seen to be within the law.

This stuff is stabilised with resin so it is real tough easily withstanding fork-strikes that would destroy board cuts , and it polishes to a sheen without lacquer or wax.
Cocobolo is a tropical hardwood from Central America. Only the heartwood is used and is prized for its rich fiery reds and orange colours,this beauty along with the stabilisation with resins makes it very hardy,water, oil, acid and fork strike resistant this is a fine material to use for the newest of the proud Hunter catapults range.
